A total of 35 returning Filipinos from Sabah were trained on bread making and food processing by the TESDA-9 Regional Training Center (RTC) – Zamboanga Peninsula on February 1-2, 2024 at the Processing Center for Displaced Persons (PDCP) of the DSWD in Barangay Talon-Talon in Zamboanga City.

Specifically, technology trainer from RTC taught them how to make cheese bread, Spanish bread, coconut candy, mango jam, and chicken nuggets.

TESDA-IX and PDCP-DSWD-IX have been having this partnership for many years now to equip them with skills for livelihood while waiting for their departure to their respective places.
