Both the TESDA Regional Training Center – Zamboanga Peninsula and Provincial Training Center – Zamboanga City join the Special Overseas Jobs Fair Caravan spearheaded by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in partnership with the City Government of Zamboanga City thru the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) on June 16, 2023 at the KCC Mall de Zamboanga.

Various job recruiting agencies joined the caravan and interviewed job seekers onsite.   The Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Recruitment Office (SRO) also conducted recruitment activities for female registered nurses.

TESDA offered skills demonstration on various bakery products (cookies and cream cupcakes, marbled cherry brownies, and chocolate chips with peanut coffee cakes) and free services on haircut, manicure/pedicure and body massage. A good number of job seekers lined up to avail themselves of the free services and learned from the demonstration. These services are given as part of social marketing and advocacy campaign of TESDA to encourage them to enroll in various qualifications offered in these training centers.
